Ahwatukee is a neighborhood in Phoenix Arizona. It is located south of the South Mountain and usually known as the biggest cul-de-sac.

Ahwatukee is east of the I-10 highway and south of Baseline Road.

The South Mountain divides Ahwatukee and South Phoenix. The South Mountain offers great mountain views for residents and homeowners. The South Mountain also offers accessibility to hiking without having to travel far.

This part of Phoenix is not flat land, it gets its amazing qualities like hilly roads, curvy roads and mountain living as a result of being close to the South Mountain.

Ahwatukee can be divided into 3 main parts.  The older part, which is close to I-10, The Foothills and the newer part, The Reserve.

There are 3 zip codes 85044, 85048 and 85045. The zip code 850444 has most of the older parts of Ahwatukee with wonderful luxury homes and estates like the Ahwatukee Custom Estates.

The zip code 85048 also has the Foothills, which is the mid part of this town. It has much newer homes and some exclusive luxury homes nestled in the South mountain with lots of privacy and exclusivity.

The zip code 85045 is home to The Foothills Reserve, a very new and growing part of Ahwatukee. The only way to access this part of town is by Pecos Road. It has much newer homes and still has new construction of homes.
